Spring 2010 - Procon was awarded the the construction of the new Fayfield Hall STEM Building at Shattuck St. Mary's.  See construction camera for up to the minute photo's, http://www.s-sm.org/podium/default.aspx?t=131459.  This is the first classroom expansion at Shattuck in 80 years.  This project will be a great expansion of the science department.  Check back often for progress updates and up to date photo's. 

June 2010 – Community Resource Bank in Northfield moves into its new location in the Phoenix Building also located with Anytime Fitness.  Procon remodeled the existing space with a new teller line, offices and 24 hour ATM. 

November 2009 – DayBreak Church members along Procon will be moving into the new facility located at 2515 Harvest Lane N.W., just a block west of the Owatonna Hospital, is in the final stages of completion and the new church will officially open its doors to the community by Thanksgiving.  Click for complete article - http://www.owatonna.com/news.php?viewStory=111362  Church Blog - http://daybreakcommunitychurch.vox.com/

Prairie Creek Community Charter School– School opens has Procon provides the finihsing touches on the expanded and remodeled school project located in Caslte Rock, MN.  PCCS provides progressive education began in the early 1920s and had a strong, though sporadic, impact on American education.  Inspired by the writings of John Dewey, these schools engaged children with an "experiential" approach to education.  Today there are private and charter progressive schools all over the United States.  Progressive schools share some common philosophies and practices.  http://prairiecreek.org/  

Personal Award - Steve Underdahl of Professional Contractors located in Faribault was recently awarded the designation of Certified Green Building Professional. The designation was awarded after completion of a three-day training program.  The Certified Green Professional program is administered by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) University of Housing and sponsored by Energy Panel Structures, (EPS).

Certified Green Building Professionals are able to measure a home building project against the best existing definition of green and sustainable home construction and incorporate green building principles into the homes they build.

According to the standards developed through the NAHB, the design, construction, and operation of a green home must focus on energy and water efficiency, resource efficient building design and materials, indoor environmental quality, and must take the overall impact on the environment into account.
